Abibata calls for issues-based campaign in Yendi, says she got 800 people jobs

On Monday December 25, the Chief Executive Officer of MASLOC, Hajia Abibata Shani Mahama Zakaria presented her nomination form to contest for the Yendi parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the New Patriotic party.

The NPP constituency secretary, Abdul Karim Nashiru received the form in the
constituency office, indicating Hajia’s readiness to participate in the upcoming parliamentary primaries in the Yendi constituency.

Constituency Chairman Alhaji Baba Alhassan urged the supporters of Hajija Abibata Shani to do their campaign devoid of insults and namecalling, because after the contest they would need one another to rally behind the candidature of whoever emerges victor on January 27 next year.

The former constituency chairman of the constituency and the Northern former
Northern regional chairman aspirant Alhaji Inusah Dagaomba boy also assures the
regional executives that there is no confusion in the constituency but they should rather concentrate and win one of the Tamale seats for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

The parliamentary candidate aspirant Hajia Habibata Mahama Shani Zakaria indicated that she would prefer the campaign to be fact base rather than insults; that when she goes to the polling station executives she would tell them what she has done, and what she will do if voted.

She added that when she lost the last parliamentary primaries, she supported the incumbent member of parliament and he won and that didn’t change her, adding that she is still the same person going for the contest.

Meanwhile, the campaign team have released the slides below carrying figures of number of people she has secured jobs for in the Yendi constituency.

And of this, forestry alone is 744 persons with community police 40 people, while police itself 12, fire service 15 and immigration, 13.

GES 15, TVET 10, GHAPOHA 1. Local Government 10, Food & Drugs Authority 1 and Ghana Armed Forces 2, making the list of 853 persons to have gotten jobs from the MASLOC boss.
