ASHANTIGOLD SC WITHDRAWS INTERLOCUTORY INJUNCTION FROM APPEALS COURT

Embattled Ashanti gold sporting club has move to withdraw its interlocutory injunction against the Ghana football association to halt the resumption of the Ghana football association.

During the hearing of the case early on today at the appeals court in Accra, counsel for the obuasi base club Lawyer Edward Sam Crabbe, informed the court of their decision to withdraw the application having apprised himself of the preliminary legal objection raised by the GFA in its affidavit in opposition.

Following the decision to withdraw the case, the Ghana football association requested for cost of 30,000.00 cedis.

The court however ruled, that the football association be paid the sum of 5,000.00 cedis, after the plea of Ashanti gold to have them pay 3,000.00 cedis in cost.
