The Member of Parliament for Gushegu, Hassan Tampuli, has disbursed GH¢300,000 in education support to 230 tertiary students, offering relief to families struggling with the cost of higher education.
The funds were presented on Thursday at the Gushegu Community Centre under the MP’s Education Support Fund. Beneficiaries received different amounts based on their needs, with the highest award reaching GH¢14,943 and the lowest GH¢1,000.

Students studying medicine, law and engineering were among those whose school fees were fully covered under the initiative.
Mr Tampuli said the support was intended to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent students in the constituency from completing tertiary education. He pledged to continue assisting beneficiaries until they graduate.
He also promised law students an opportunity to begin their careers at his law firm after completing their studies.

The initiative is part of efforts to reduce the financial pressure on students and parents while expanding access to higher education in the Gushegu Constituency.
