Norwegian international Erling Haaland has informed Borussia Dortmund of his intension to leave the Bundesliga club at the end of the season, sparking rumors of an imminent move to reigning premier league champions Manchester city who are believed to be front runners for the signature of the striker.
According to multiple reports, Manchester city are open to the idea of paying his release clause set at 75 million Euros and have the goal poacher join Pep Guardiola’s side on a 5 year deal with reports adding the Norwegian has agreed personal terms with the premier league champions.
Haaland has scored 85 goals in 88 matches for Dortmund since joining from RB Salzburg in January 2020.
it is believed Pep Guardiola and the city hierachy view the Norwegian as the ideal replacement for city’s all time goal scorer Sergio Aguero.
