Staunch supporter of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hajia Nimash is of the belief that Ghanaians are currently witnessing the worse form of governance since the beginning of the fourth republican constitution.

According to her, Ghana has had the experience of five (5) presidents since our return to democratic rule in 1992. However, under this current government of Nana Akufo Addo, the country has witnessed an unprecedented economic mess by a kakistocracy.

Hajia Nimash made this comment on her social media handle following protests over the spiraling prices and rising cost of living.

Since 1992, we’ve had 5 presidents unfortunately this current one is a big disappointment. In fact the duo of Nana -Bawumia is the worse of all, unprecedented economic mess.

Ghana has become the throes of a severe economic crisis which led gov’t to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to seek a balance of payment support .

Gov’t explained this is as a result of the twin shocks of the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a claim the IMF reaffirmed in it’s report after engaging with the Ghanaian officials.

Hajia Nimash is aspiring to be NDC Northern Region Women’s Organizer.
