Energy Minister Dr Mathew Opoku Prempah has said the government will add more power generation capacity.

He also said the government will locate power generation in the middle and northern sector to improve grid stability.

Dr Opoku Prempeh said this at a press conference in Accra on Wednesday April 13.

“We have put in place measures to prevent petroleum product scarcity and also ensure price stability,” regrading Ghanaian participation in the petroleum sector, he said.
