GRAHAM POTTER AGREES VERBAL CONTRACT WITH CHELSEA TO BECOME NEXT MANAGER

Chelsea are on the verge of appointing Graham Potter as new manager following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday morning on the back end of the blues 1-0 champions league defeat to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night. It is reported both parties have reached a verbal agreement which will see the 47 year old make the switch from the Amex to Stamford Bridge.

Potter turned down the opportunity to become Tottenham hotspur trainer 18 months ago before Antonio Conte joined the London club, but has largely been thought to fancy a move to Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino and Zinedine Zidane, who are both out of work, as well as Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim were all also on Chelsea’s radar.

Additionally Chelsea are reportedly in the market for a new sporting director to spear head the affairs of the club.
