Minority leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu, has commissioned a Community Health-Based Planning Services (CHPS) compound for Adubiliyili a farming community under the Tamale South Constituency.
Hon. Iddrisu, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, addressing some community members, said the about GHc 400,000 project was constructed using the MP’s share of the National Health Insurance fund, out of which three hundred twenty Ghana cedis (320,000) was used for the entire physical infrastructure works.

According to the MP, the CHIPS facility includes the already 15 health facilities commissioned around the constituency all in attempt to improving access to quality healthcare, especially in reducing maternal and infant mortality in the constituency and the country as a whole.
The Member of Parliament also used the occasion to urged residents to own and maintain the facility to ensure quality access to basic and affordable health care services as well as promote good and healthy living in the area.
