Sagnarigu : Damankung Yili chief thanks NDC Attah Issah for  dredging dam

The chief of Damankung Yili, Alhassan Yakubu has expressed gratitude to the Sagnarigu parliamentary candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for desilting their dam.

Naa Yakubu at a ceremony yesterday Sunday, December 24 to cut sod for work to commence said the residents could not thank Mr. Attah Issah enough for the efforts, saying that all their efforts to get government rehabilitate the dam proved unsuccessful.

“Mr. Attah Issah, we don’t know how to thank you again for these efforts. Our water challenge is something that we have been battling with. And for his intervention, I am out troubles will come to an end. Imagine less than 3 months after the raining season ended, and you can’t find water in the dam?”, The chief asked.

The jubilant women were so excited that they could not hid their joy, promising that they will stand with Attah Issah to show him appreciation when the times comes for them to elect someone to lead the constituency once again in December 2024.

According to the women, the situation has led to them not making love with their husbands again, because they can’t get water to bath when are done making love, adding that this desilting has brought a huge relief to them.

On his part, the NDC 2024 parliamentary candidate assured them of his readiness and willingness to help the people, anytime the need arises.

Mr. Attah Issah described the reactions of the people as heartwarming, saying that he was more than happy to notice the people were appreciative of his works for them.
