Smart Move: Sapashini allocates 30% profit from his Live Life concert to drill boreholes in Gambaga

Ghanaian singer, Sapashini has pledged to use 30% of proceeds from his Live Life Album tour Concert on Christmas Day at the Bokum Arena in Accra to provide portable drinking water to the good people of Gambaga where he heels from.

The Monica hit-maker on the night dazzled thousands of fans who turned out for the show with his soothing voice to back-to-back performances of his hit songs accompanied by some incredible dance moves.

Marvelled by his showmanship, the fans aside paying to witness the event showered him with bundles of Ghana Cedi notes on stage.

Speaking in an interview with GTV’s Breakfast show, Sapashini explained giving back to the community is in appreciation of the love and support for his career thus far…

“I am not going to use the [money] to buy expensive cars, build a house or something like that. I know where I am coming from and we don’t have good drinking water. So I am coming out with my foundation and at least, by March [this year], we should be able to drill three or four boreholes.

“Nobody is going to for us but ourselves that’s why I am pleading to use 30 per cent of the profit I made from the concert to do it”, he added.

He continued “if anybody [wants to support] or invest, no problem but Sapashini is doing it, [and] I am doing it for Naa Gbewaa”.
