The Ghana Prisons Service is seeking public assistance to locate and recapture an inmate who escaped from custody while serving a prison sentence.
The inmate, identified as 29-year-old Peter Kyeremeh, was serving a five-year term with hard labour for unlawful entry and stealing.
Kyeremeh is described by the Service as slim and fair in complexion.
The authorities have appealed to anyone who may have seen him or knows his current whereabouts to provide information to the police or the nearest prison establishment.
The Ghana Prisons Service has also provided a dedicated contact number for information that could assist in his apprehension: 0506232978.
The Service is urging members of the public to cooperate with authorities and report any information that may help bring the escaped inmate back into custody.
