Inusah Abdul-Latif, popularly known as Aljazeera, has announced his decision to return to the Tamale Central Constituency and seek to recapture the position of Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, his decision is driven not merely by an ambition to occupy a party position but by a desire to contribute his experience and expertise towards strengthening the party’s communications structures and improving its presence across the media landscape.
In an official declaration statement, Inusah Abdul-Latif said he believes the NDC must pay greater attention to its representation on radio and television programs, particularly in Tamale.
He expressed concern that there are occasions when NDC representatives are absent from media discussions, leaving the party without an effective voice to explain its position on important national and local issues.
He said the situation could undermine the party’s ability to properly communicate its policies, defend its record, and engage effectively with the public.
Effective communication is one of the most important tools in political mobilisation, public education, and defending the good works and policies of our party,” he stated.
Mr. Abdul-Latif believes a renewed commitment to communication, coupled with a coordinated strategy and stronger collaboration among party communicators, can significantly improve the NDC’s media presence.
He said his return to the communications structure is therefore intended to help ensure that the party’s voice is heard consistently and effectively across the media space.
He pledged to make his experience, commitment, and expertise available to the party while working with other communicators to strengthen the Regional Communications Bureau.
He further called for greater collaboration among NDC communicators to improve the party’s ability to respond to issues, educate the public, and effectively project its policies and achievements.
Mr. Abdul-Latif concluded by expressing confidence that, with collective effort, the NDC can strengthen its communication structures and take the Regional Communications Bureau to greater heights.
"Together, we can strengthen our communication structures, improve our media presence, and take the Regional Communications Bureau to greater heights,” he said.
