Max Verstappen claimed his second consecutive victory with a commanding performance at the Singapore Grand Prix, converting pole position into a dominant win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The Red Bull driver controlled the race from the front, giving his rivals little opportunity to challenge him. The win adds to his success in the sprint earlier in the weekend, meaning he took maximum honours across both races in Singapore.

The double triumph has also improved Verstappen’s standing in the drivers’ championship. He has climbed from sixth to fourth in the standings, a significant jump that keeps him in the conversation as the season moves into its closing stages.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished second, securing another podium for the Scuderia and keeping himself in the thick of the battle behind the winner.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli completed the podium in third place. The result was a valuable one for the Mercedes driver, who extended his advantage at the top of the standings to 102 points over teammate George Russell.

Russell had a much more difficult afternoon, finishing the race ninth. The result will be a disappointment for the Briton, as it allowed Antonelli to stretch the gap between the two Mercedes drivers further. With the points deficit now over 100, Russell faces a major challenge to keep his title hopes alive.

Verstappen’s back-to-back wins show Red Bull’s growing momentum, while Antonelli’s podium finish shows how consistent he has been in holding his place at the head of the championship.

The focus now shifts to the next round on the calendar, where Verstappen will look to extend his winning run and Russell will try to recover lost ground. Antonelli, meanwhile, will aim to protect his healthy lead as the title race enters its decisive phase.
